I have been working for Otto & Company for more than five years. As a former apprentice at O&C, I am still highly appreciated. I have the opportunity to continue working for the company and advance my development during my high school diploma and my current studies.
Especially when it comes to working hours, there is a flexibility for me to concentrate fully on my academic development. O&C helps me to get a step closer to my goals and supports me with responsible tasks.

IN AN INTERNSHIP
RESPONSIBILITY
During my internship at O&C I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project at the client's site and gained valuable experience as well as strengthening my soft and hard skills.
Due to O&C's distinctive feedback culture, I had the opportunity to develop myself continuously. I also liked the internal training and workshops that O&C offered in addition to the project work. Right from the start, I was integrated into O&C as a full team member and was allowed to take on a lot of tasks on my own. The internship at O&C exceeded my expectations and brought me a lot further in my professional career.
I took my first steps in strategy consulting at O&C. It was a great time. As a team, we worked closely on different projects and built a trusting environment. Especially our frequent discussions on projects and topics like psychology or corporate identity got me very engaged. During my short Internship, I was allowed to take responsibility for a small project and engage another intern.
At O&C, employees are treated humanely and according to their strengths. If you are motivated, you get opportunities to improve and broaden your knowledge and abilities. The work environment is also very good, and everyone treats you with respect. Partners and Trainees alike.

What I wanted was to interact with people, face challenging tasks, and take responsibility on a daily basis – and consulting promised just that. Now, after a bit more than four years with O&C, I can confidently say that these expectations have been and continue to be met each and every day. Taking ownership and responsibility for both our diverse client and internal projects from day one and driving them to success is at the core of what we do.
In our projects, we partner closely with our clients to help transform their organizations and the way they work. In doing so, we place a strong emphasis on hands-on implementation, never forgetting what is pivotal for the success and sustainability of any transformation: the people involved. Working at O&C has not only helped me build my professional skills, but also to grow personally within a small, extraordinarily dedicated, and very supportive team – and I am very much looking forward to continue this exciting journey!

What I really appreciate about Otto & Company is that we work together as a team in which we constantly support one another. Each individual plays a major role in the company, so everyone is involved in decision-making processes. As an apprentice, you are quickly accepted into the friendly and open-minded team as an employee. Since the founding days of Otto & Company, I have been able to develop further as an Office Manager in a wide range of tasks.
As the linchpin for the partners and consultants, I am always challenged to find ways and solutions that guarantee a smooth process for all. It helps a lot that O&C has no rigid structures, which is why I can work with a lot of creative freedom.
The working atmosphere is very friendly and characterized by high professionalism. We work performance-oriented, but do not lose sight of the collegial cohesion, which is noticeably strengthened by joint team activities and annual company excursions.

Thanks to my internship at O&C, I gained a first insight into the strategy consultancy at Odeonsplatz, where I felt very comfortable right from the start. As I am still at the beginning of my professional career, my professional and personal development is particularly important to me. O&C shares this view.

Guided by the already existing experiences of my colleagues, it was easy for me to get to know and understand the characteristics of the healthcare industry better.
