I love deep-diving into the nitty-gritty details of subjects at hand. At O&C I learned quickly that it is equally important to get the gist of new projects fast and provide value to new topics from the get-go. As all the projects that O&C manages are so different from each other, finding a new balance between those approaches for different purposes was crucial. Through commitment to completing each project adhering to O&C’s highest standards, the learning curve has been very steep so far: within few months I’ve gained fascinating insights into health care and related industries, sales strategies, and project management, and of course, strategy consulting.

I like that collaborative atmosphere in our small team here at O&C. We help each other, brainstorming on the variety on projects together. Engagement and being proactive counts and full commitment to each project gets noticed!

During my internship at O&C I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project at the client's site and gained valuable experience as well as strengthening my soft and hard skills.

Due to O&C's distinctive feedback culture, I had the opportunity to develop myself continuously. I also liked the internal training and workshops that O&C offered in addition to the project work. Right from the start, I was integrated into O&C as a full team member and was allowed to take on a lot of tasks on my own. The internship at O&C exceeded my expectations and brought me a lot further in my professional career.

I took my first steps in strategy consulting at O&C. It was a great time. As a team, we worked closely on different projects and built a trusting environment. Especially our frequent discussions on projects and topics like psychology or corporate identity got me very engaged. During my short Internship, I was allowed to take responsibility for a small project and engage another intern. 
At O&C, employees are treated humanely and according to their strengths. If you are motivated, you get opportunities to improve and broaden your knowledge and abilities. The work environment is also very good, and everyone treats you with respect. Partners and Trainees alike.

What I wanted was to interact with people, face challenging tasks, and take responsibility on a daily basis – and consulting promised just that. Now, after a bit more than four years with O&C, I can confidently say that these expectations have been and continue to be met each and every day. Taking ownership and responsibility for both our diverse client and internal projects from day one and driving them to success is at the core of what we do.

In our projects, we partner closely with our clients to help transform their organizations and the way they work. In doing so, we place a strong emphasis on hands-on implementation, never forgetting what is pivotal for the success and sustainability of any transformation: the people involved. Working at O&C has not only helped me build my professional skills, but also to grow personally within a small, extraordinarily dedicated, and very supportive team – and I am very much looking forward to continue this exciting journey!

I started as intern at O&C and later did my first job entry with O&C as Associate Consultant. On day 1, I got a project working directly with a client, owning the full responsibility for the project, therefore it has been challenging but with a really steep learning curve. During the early days I’ve never felt alone – other consultants as well as our managing partner was always there to answer my questions, helping me out, or just giving supporting and motivating words.

2023, I decided to work on my academic career with pursuing a Master’s degree in psychology. However, I also wanted to keep working at O&C, so I switched to another position internally: From project work, i switched take over responsibilities in the Backoffice on a part-time basis – from invoicing clients to personnel planning and our recruiting activities!

My tasks have been adapted to fit my university life and my personal wishes – I highly appreciate this kind of freedom, that O&C offers me and everyone else on a daily basis.

In my daily work as an Associate at O&C, these expectations are fully met. 

In particular, the focus on the healthcare industry offers exciting global projects in an environment characterized by many dynamic changes, in which an intensive exchange with clients and colleagues fosters the exchange of knowledge. The broad spectrum of different projects provides a comprehensive insight into this exciting industry. Guided by the already existing experiences of my colleagues, it was easy for me to get to know and understand the characteristics of the healthcare industry better. This expertise enables consulting projects to be implemented with the greatest possible benefit for our clients.

Thanks to my internship at O&C, I gained a first insight into the strategy consultancy at Odeonsplatz, where I felt very comfortable right from the start. As I am still at the beginning of my professional career, my professional and personal development is particularly important to me.
